Upon loading, the game requires input of the player's name, birth date, and gender. The game then asks the user to input a question, and shuffles the cards. The game then generates a tarot reading via the Celtic cross layout. Afterward, the player chooses the state that he/she is from and will be given lottery numbers accordingly. The game has come under criticism over the years. The messages given by the virtual "cards" can be difficult to interpret as they contain a fair amount of Engrish, and there is no actual game activity to be found apart from repeated readings. Due to the controversial nature of Tarot, and its perceived unsuitability for use with what was commonly considered a children's toy, the game suffered poor promotion and sales.
